식혜

설날에 엄마가 해주신 식혜입니다.

It's sikhye that my mom made for me on 

Lunar New Year.

매년 이모, 삼촌들과 가족들을 위해 모두가 

좋아하는  식혜를 설날에 하십니다.

Every year, every one makes their favorite 

sikhye on Lunar New Year for aunts, uncles

and families.

요즘 부쩍 나이드신 엄마가 팔이 많이 아프시다며 마지막 식혜가 될 것 같다고 하십니다.

These days, my elderly mother says that her

arm hurts a lot and that it will be her last 

sikhye.

힘드시니까 이제 그만 하시라고 말씀드려도 

가족들이 모두 좋아하니 하는거라고 하셨는데 

이젠 본인도 많이 힘드신가 봅니다.

Even if I told you to stop new because you're

having a hard time, your family said thay all

liked it, but now you must be having a hard 

time, too.

식혜는 엄마의 사랑입니다.

Sikhye is the mother's love.
